Far Out! A Queer Comedy Showcase

FAR OUT! is a queer stand up comedy showcase at 10Forward in Greenfield, MA. This showcases promises to be hilarious (and probably very out there), and features a combination of local and national talent. Come out with us Thursday, September 22nd and let's get weird!

Caitlin Arcand (she/her)
is a writer, producer and comedian. A native of Boston, Caitlin Arcand is a comedian using her psychology degree for anything but being a psychologist. Her candid stories and brutally honest accounts of her daily life have been heard on stages all over the country, recently appearing at The North Carolina Comedy Festival and The Portland Maine Comedy Festival. She was recently named one of Buzzfeed's 2021 Women to Watch for her woman-centered humor platform Ladyspike Media. Ladyspike was founded in 2019, following two sold-out years of Boston's only all-female comedy show, which Caitlin created and hosted. Before pursuing her comedic stylings, she was a theatrical performer and singer for over 10 years.

Outside of comedy, Caitlin enjoys being bullied by drag queens, and as an active member of the LGBTQ community, she has served as a judge for Boston Drag Gauntlet, Worcester Drag Wars and the Rhode Island PRIDE Pageant. She is also an active comedy producer and is responsible for creating several shows in Boston and New York, such as the comedy-variety shows "Sketchy Stand Prov," "Fancy Pants," and "In the Studio." Caitlin currently works as a digital media professional for TV and film all around the country, through her company Arcand Entertainment. Nora Panahi (she/her) is a Boston-based standup comic with great hair and a manual transmission. She's been featured in the Women in Comedy Festival and YallaPunk Arts Festival and is a proud staff writer of Sabah Il-Khara, a daytime talk show for the queer SWANA (South West Asian, North African) crowd.
Nisse Greenberg (he/they) lives around here. They've performed a lot too. One time they got paid to get naked and cry in Lincoln Center. Also they've created a lot of art that's available to look at at nissegreenberg.com. Check out Working Class and Bad Feelings, those are pretty cool projects. Also those interviews they did with their dad are pretty funny, you can find those on soundcloud.Monk Kelley (they/them) is a Western Mass based stand-up comedian, writer, paper pusher. From Chicago originally, they were the former host of Comedy at Hawks and Reed.Mo Schweiger (they/them) is a fresh face on the Western Mass comedy scene. They enjoy writing, playing ping pong and dancing. They bring a contagious positive attitude that you've just got to see.Hosted by Ang Buxton (they/them) a queer, non-binary comedian from Western Massachusetts. Ang is a high-energy, witty performer with a knack for explaining complicated concepts like gender politics in a way that is funny and relatable for everyone. They were featured as P3 Comedy Festival’s Queer of the Year for 2022 and placed 2nd. Ang has headlined at Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club in Tacoma, Washington, and regularly features at many venues around New England. Ang Buxton hosts and produces Taking Back Monday, a weekly queer-friendly comedy mic, and Mad Juicy, a monthly comedy showcase.
